Our proposals are currently being assessed to establish the effect of the proposed development on the surrounding road network.
Pedestrian access to the site will be located from Lord’s Hill, from Old Station Way, from Railway Drive carpark via Pyart Court and to the rear of the proposed store.
Secure cycle parking spaces are proposed to be incorporated onsite in a well monitored location for use by staff and customers. This will enable cycling as a substitute to short car trips or part of longer journeys by public transport.
There are at least five bus stops in the immediate vicinity of the site, the closest being directly opposite the site. These services provide access through Coleford town and to the surrounding areas, in addition to longer journeys, providing a viable alternative to driving.
The existing accessibility to the site via non-car modes of transport is therefore considered to be good.
